The second workshop of the Albanian ICT Awards 2012 was held in Pristina.

Pristina, April 6, 2013 – the second workshop of the “Albanian ICT Awards 2012” was held in the premises of the American University of Kosovo (AUK), partner of this workshop.
The first workshop was held in Tirana, on the 15th February this year. Both were held as a part of the awareness campaign of the “Albanian ICT Awards 2012” event which will take place with a Gala event by the end of April this year in Tirana, at which the winners of the five categories will be rewarded.
The event is organised by ICTSmedia, based in Tirana and Pristina, supported by “Dritan Hoxha” and other supporting partners.

AUK’s main auditorium hall in Pristina was filled with professionals and experts from the ICT business in which Mr. Kushtrim Shala, the representative of ICTSmedia, presented the actual status in terms of development, results and the progress between the two workshops (the one in Tirana, which was held on February 15th, and the second one, which was held today in Pristina). Shala once again encouraged all those who are working within the ICT business to use the remaining days, until April 13th, in order to apply for one of the five categories of the Albanian ICT Awards 2013 competition.

Mr. Visar Jasiqi, the Director of the Institute of Training and Development at AUK held a presentation on behalf of the supporter of this organisation, the American University in Kosovo (AUK).


On behalf of ICTSmedia’s strategic partner “Dritan Hoxha, the Director, Mrs. Vjollca Dako welcomed the participants and congratulated ICTSmedia the organiser of the Albanian ICT Awards for this initiative spread nationwide. Further she invited all talented, passionate, enthusiasts and those who have contributed achievements in the field of Information Technology and Communication, to use the time and opportunity in order to apply for the first nationwide competition.


During the today’s workshop some Albanian ICT Awards 2012 applicants presented their work, talked about the challenges they are facing and the motivation to work in the ICT business and to apply for the Albanian ICT Awards.

The professional independent jury consisting of prominent personalities from the Albanian ICT business will select winners of the five categories of the Albanian ICT Awards 2012 event. (PCWorld Albania)
